Emilio Alejandro Medrano Cruz is a versatile Dominican composer, producer, arranger, pianist, singer, music educator, and software engineer, born in Jarabacoa in 1997. His musical influences span from piano virtuosos like Richard Clayderman and Yanni to film/game composers such as Yasunori Mitsuda and Alan Menken.
With a solid background from the National Conservatory of D.R & Berklee Online, Emilio founded Medrano Music Academy (2016) & co-founded the Genesis Music Group (GMG) label (2019).
His discography includes the EP "Mistakes" (Indie Dominicano Awards nominee) and hit singles like "Inspiration" and "Feelings," boasting over 1.5 million streams on Amazon Music. His recent release is the single "Little Miracle."
On stage, Emilio is a compelling pianist. He opened for Arcángel at Quisqueya Stadium (2023) with Caribelia and, after moving to Miami, collaborated with talents from The Voice, Latin Grammy nominees, and jazz figures like Nicole Henry. He has participated at the George Harris Show and major festivals like Calle 8 (2024) and Bajo la Luna Fest (2025) with Mechy, opening for Cultura Profética, Los Cafres and Akapellah.
